“True power springs from the understanding that I am co-creating at all times with Spirit; that at any moment, I can step into the all-ness of being. When I am in touch with my true spirit, I am bursting with energy and enthusiasm. I know that the One Power is within me and I can draw on that power at any time. In truth, I AM that power.” - Excerpted from Today’s Daily Word, March 8, 2010
I AM bursting with energy and enthusiasm. I appreciate the confirmation that it is due to me being in touch with my true spirit.
Since the beginning of this year, I have felt re-activated and re-energized. My personal and spiritual growth has taken off steeply (and rather quickly) and I’ve been feeling more and more empowered. And, that feeling springs from more deeply understanding that God is always with me and we are co-creating at all times.
Of myself I am nothing; with Spirit I have true power. I have been, and continue to be, touched by Grace. Thank You, thank You, thank You!

PRAYER
Prayer by prayer, I enrich my life.
How do I achieve a spiritually centered life? I pray.
When I spend time in prayer, I gain a deeper understanding of my true nature. My potential for a richer, fuller life is revealed to me.
Through communion with God I become attuned to the divine presence and power within me. I am strengthened and guided to do what is mine to do.
Prayer immerses me in the love of God and opens my heart to meaningful relationships. Prayer brings me new insight so that I more fully express the love within me.
My life is enriched through the power of prayer, which gives me strength, wisdom, and enthusiasm.
"Strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way."--1 Corinthians 12:31

A Time to Rest
“To everything turn, turn, turn...” – From the song “Turn, Turn, Turn” by Pete Seeger (1954) adapted from the book of Ecclesiastes.
This song comes to mind for today. I have little physical energy, clarity of mind, or enthusiasm. In the past, I would have bulldozed my way to be active and productive. Now, I surrender to Spirit Who knows that I need to rest. I have no choice but to listen to Spirit.
I am grateful that I do not have a j-o-b I had to get to. Being in my own business, I make my own schedule, and it allows for supreme flexibility.
It is a loving action on my part to take time to rest; it is trusting action for me to surrender to God, knowing there is a time for everything. Today is a time for rest.

Comfort 24/7
It’s mid-afternoon and I’ve just finished eating a light lunch. Nevertheless, I feel sluggish, with little energy or enthusiasm to move back into my enjoyable work.
I just took a glance again at one of today’s meditations. It was about God being my strength and my comfort when I’m facing small or larger difficulties, stating that I can be comforted as I find a quiet place and close my eyes.
Yes, I can do that now too! Even for a lull in energy, I can take a break and seek God’s comfort. Spirit is always available for help in all situations – It is my strength.
So, ta-ta. I’m off to some quiet time with Spirit; I’m taking a comfort break with God to get re-charged by Source.

God Expectations
What are my expectations of God? I expect goodness and the best for my spiritual growth and upliftment. I expect God’s guidance, help, power, abundance, love, and grace.
So when circumstances appear to be less good than I think they should be and my ego starts moving into gear, I call a time out. I dwell on Spirit and look for the message Spirit is giving me and I seek to find the blessing in the situation. I remember that God has a divine plan and knows what It is doing. I relax into the peace of God.
Letting divine ideas fill my mind, I act on them with gratitude and enthusiasm, and my ego goes back to slumber mode once again. I’m in fit spiritual condition and fit for service to God. All is well.

Affirming Prosperity
On the occasion of us signing bankruptcy documents this afternoon, I affirm:
My thoughts are enriched by the creative spirit of God within me. I am filled with renewed enthusiasm, and my life is prospered.
I am a spiritual being, heir to the abundance of God’s kingdom. My life is prospered and enriched.
I give thanks for God’s prospering ideas that inspire me to live a full, rewarding life.
I am God’s beloved creation, and I rely on God’s provision to fulfill every good desire.
The presence of God is within and around me. I am alive with creative energy, awake to prospering ideas, and open to unlimited goodness.

Grace Blesses
“Wherever I am, God’s grace blesses me.” – Daily Word, April 16, 2009
These days God is gracing me with enthusiasm and wonderful expectancy for our future life. I could be in fear with all the uncertainty - I’m so grateful that I’m not. Instead of powerless (fear), I feel powerful (faith).
God is guiding me and with me all the way. I’m feeling Its Presence and grace more and more, and it’s a blessing.
