Breakthrough

Yesterday Rog and I had a meeting to discuss processes and scheduling in our website design and development business. It was a productive conversation that moved us forward.

Then he used the word production in querying how many websites I thought I could do each week. That triggered something in me that set off a barrage of anger and frustration, not the first time on this subject that involves money and time. I was acutely aware of my mind becoming limited and shutting down, and my heart space shrinking. Ego and fear had taken over once again.

But as Rog talked to tell me his perspective about abundance and intention, I got clarity as to what had set me off. Then I was able to express it, honestly and in a diplomatic way. This was a huge step for me: getting down to the cause, giving voice to my feelings, and standing up for myself.

I am aware that this episode was not really about Rog and me. It was about long-held patterns of thinking that do not serve me well and not feeling empowered. I am so grateful for the lesson and the teacher – what blessings! And, I am certain that this breakthrough was another result of my reactivation (see blog of 01/07/10).

I feel the garbage is being removed from my mind and heart and the Truth is being uncovered; it can only be with God’s help, grace, and love that this can be achieved. With each breakthrough, I feel more empowered, more in my heart, and better able to help others.

Letting God In

“I let go and let God free me for greater good.” – Daily Word

As we transition to a very different life style, I’m peeling the onion learning more about myself. My attitudes and behaviors affect those around me, especially my beloved, Rog. So I pray that as more is revealed and pain comes forth, that Spirit shows me the right way to go and keeps my ego at bay. I am open to healing, I am open to love.

I’m looking to learn my lessons, painful as sometimes they may be, so that I can move forward and enjoy a happy, joyous, and free life especially with my twin flame. Then, too I am better able to help others and be of good use to God. So I let go all the junk inside me – the fears, doubts, hurts of the past – and let God direct me to my greater good. I let God’s love come in and I find peace.

Beauty

I flipped my wall calendar this morning to welcome the new month of July... I cannot believe how quickly the time is flying these days!

The photo for the month is of a gorgeous purplish evening sky, with the moon rising behind a tree amid mountains. The quote by Confucius states: “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” How true this is.

And, is it not true of moi? And, not just in terms of the physical. How often do I not see the beauty in people, in their spirit? I don’t see past their ideas, their quirks, their complaints, their fears. Or I get stuck in my ego with its ideas, fears, and judgments.

Love is all there is, which means that each of us is love, and where there is love there surely is beauty.

May I take the time to see past the outer, and see the inner beautiful spirit of all whom I encounter this day.

Morning Prayer 03.04.09

Dear God;

Thank You for this day
Thank You for this life
Thank You for Roger.

Please remove any fears within me and have me know in every cell of my body that You are my Source of
everything, and all is well.

Please remove any obstacles within me that keep me from my good and being of service to others. May I be compassionate, giving, and full of only love as I go through this day.

Fill me with peace. Thank You. So it is.
